Nick Bejcar

ACMG Lead Rock Guide

Nick Bejcar, an ACMG Rock Guide, discovered climbing in Thailand in 2014 and was quickly captivated by the adventure it offered. Originally from Alberta, he made countless trips to the Rockies, later expanding his climbing pursuits to iconic destinations like Yosemite, Index, Zion, and Red Rocks. Nick’s passion for the sport earned him the nickname of a "walking encyclopedia" of North American climbing history from his peers.

Since moving to Squamish in 2016, Nick has devoted himself to the local granite, ticking off classic routes and sharing his love for the area with his guests. These climbs have sharpened his technical skills, physical strength, and mental resilience—qualities he brings into his guiding. Having guided in Squamish since 2018, Nick is deeply passionate about helping others grow, sharing his knowledge and experience to enhance his clients' climbing.

Amanda Bischke

ACMG Apprentice Rock Guide

Amanda began climbing while studying kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Now based in Squamish during the summer, she spends winters traveling to rock and ice climbing destinations. With over a decade of experience as a climbing instructor, Amanda brings an inquisitive and playful approach to the endless learning opportunities climbing offers. She is passionate about creating empowering environments where participants leave with the confidence to lead their own adventures.

Amanda’s climbing adventures have taken her to diverse destinations across the globe and built skills in a wide array of climbing styles - from thin cracks to frozen waterfalls. She’s spent months exploring granite and limestone in North America and Europe, explored the unique sandstone formations of China, and tackled frozen waterfalls in Japan. A recent standout was her expedition to Baffin Island, where her team completed four first ascents in an untouched region with no prior climbing expeditions.
